Start a Last Man Standing for your mates, your office or your pub. You set the entry, you hold the pot, we run the football.
Your spreadsheet is gone. So are the reminder texts, the "did you pay me?",
and the Sunday night spent working out who's still in.
You've got your time back.

Two games, one platform — and no more spreadsheets.
LMSPlay.com was conceived and built by Michael Rossi, a systems designer and lifelong football fan. The story starts back in 2014, when he played a few rounds of a classic Last Man Standing competition and came away thinking two things: this is great, but it's over far too quickly for most of the people in it. One bad Saturday and you're a spectator for weeks or months.
So he built an alternative — a league-based variant where nobody gets knocked out. Everyone picks three teams, every game week, from the first whistle to the last, with points, goal difference, promotion and relegation deciding the places. That game became LMSL, and a community of family and friends has been playing it ever since.
Then in 2026 came the second idea. Thousands of Last Man Standing games are run every season in workplaces, pubs and group chats — and nearly every one of them lives in a spreadsheet, lovingly nursed by one long-suffering organiser who chases the picks, checks the results and settles the arguments. LMSPlay was rebuilt as a platform to take that job on: fixtures arrive by themselves, picks lock at the deadline, results settle the moment the whistle goes, and the ledger keeps itself. The organiser sets the rules and takes the glory; the spreadsheet is retired with full honours.
So that's what LMSPlay.com is today — a home for both versions of the game. The classic knockout, run properly, for existing and would-be LMS communities; and LMSL, the league that keeps everyone in it until the end. Bring your community, or join one that's already here. All are welcome.

LMSPlay hosts two versions of Last Man Standing, the popular knockout version and a new league concept. Every community on the platform plays one of them, but you can join as many communities as you like.
One pick a round. Win or you're out. Pick a single team from the round's fixtures. If they win, you're through to the next round; if they draw or lose, you're out of the competition. Level is not survival.
You can't pick the same team twice — every round burns one, so the bankers run out and the picks get braver the longer you last. There is no fixed finish: the competition simply runs, round after round, until one player is left standing. The last player standing takes the prize pot.
If everyone left is knocked out in the same round, your Gamemaster decides the house rule: replay the round, split the pot, or roll it into the next competition.
Where you play. Once you have joined a community, every round's pick is made in your Player Zone — choose your team before the deadline and it locks itself in. It is also where you buy in to take your place in the prize pot, and where you can see how your community is faring.
The original LMSPlay.com game, played by the LMS Leagues community: three picks a game day, points for results, divisions with promotion and relegation. Nobody is eliminated — a bad week costs you points, not your place. The full rulebook is below.
Playing takes just a few minutes each week. How much time you spend analysing the fixtures is up to you — but with your football knowledge, picking three winners each game day should be a breeze, right?

Fancy being the Gamemaster? You can run a Last Man Standing of your own on LMSPlay — for your mates, your office or your pub. You choose the entry amount, you hold the pot, and the platform runs the football: fixtures, deadlines, results and the standings all happen here, so being the organiser takes minutes a week rather than a spreadsheet.
Your community gets its own page, its own badge, and a join link you can drop straight into a group chat. Players sign in, join, and pick — that's the whole onboarding.

Create your account via Sign Up, then go to the respective community page to join. From there on, everything you do as a player — your selections, your buy-in and your standings — lives in your Player Zone.

Greyed out means the control isn't wired to the backend yet — hover any of them to see what it's waiting on.
The name shows everywhere your community does. The logo lands on the homepage card, your community page and the trophy plaque. Paste your group chat's join link and the QR code on your community page is generated from it automatically — it can only ever point at your own community. The introduction appears under your community's name, next to your profile photo. Square logo images work best; PNG, JPEG, WEBP or SVG up to 2MB.
The team anyone who reaches the deadline without a pick is given, for the whole of this competition. It is the last winner's to nominate — nobody has won yet. If a player has already used it, they get a random team they still have left instead, so the once-per-team rule still holds.
Selections lock automatically at the start time. The end time is the window the fixtures feed will use — every match between start and end becomes that game day's fixture list, and the results settle when it passes. Greyed out until the feed lands.
Fixtures come from the live feed and land in every community automatically — this panel is the override. Leave it empty unless the feed is wrong; anything you add or remove here takes over the game day.
Type a few letters and pick from the list — spelling can't go wrong. Leave a box empty to browse: teams are grouped by division, Premier League first. A team can only appear once in a game day.
Enter scores and settle — points and stats update for every player instantly. Corrections re-settle automatically.
You collect the money the usual way — the site is the ledger. A player taps Buy In, reads your instructions and says they've sent it; you confirm and their badge turns to Paid Up. Entry closes when game day 1 locks, and paid status clears by itself when the next tournament starts.
Export a CSV from your bank and upload it. Players quote their number — LMS01, LMS02 — when they pay, and the engine matches reference and amount against who still owes. You get one button that confirms every match at once, not one confirmation per player, and the names behind any shortfall. A line with the right money but no reference is listed for you to judge; the engine never guesses from a name. Nothing is stored: the file is read, matched and dropped.
Each control re-runs or overrides an automated job. The greyed ones arrive with the football data feed.
For the player who couldn't get to their phone, and for the team you typed in wrong. Find them by name, email or player number, choose the game week, then choose their teams. It opens on the week still waiting on a result, and you can go back to any week of the running game — a week that has already been played is re-scored the moment you save it. The same rules apply as when they pick for themselves — a team can't be used twice in a tournament, and you can't take both sides of a fixture. The pick is marked on their profile as entered by you.
Move a player's account (and all their history) to a new email address — for players who've lost or changed the mailbox they played under.
Every email the site sends — sign-in links, notices — leaves through one door. This is which door, and a way to prove it works without waiting for a player to complain.
One email per line. These accounts see the Gamemaster button. An address that hasn't signed up yet gets access the first time it signs in.
Tick the players and choose where they go. Their results, points and streak go with them — only the table they appear in changes. Promotion and relegation still run on their own at the end of the tournament.
Who is in this community. Everyone who joins is in — there is nothing to approve. Find anyone by name or email and remove them if they shouldn't be here; their address is then blocked from re-joining until you lift it. Removing affects this community only — it doesn't touch their account or their place in anyone else's game.
No passwords. Enter your email and we'll send you a one-time magic link — or use Google if you prefer.
Existing players: use the same email you played with before and your full history will be waiting for you.
Changes save to this device now, and to your account once the backend goes live.

It's how the bank statement finds you — without it your payment has to be matched by hand.
